Old Art Sundays

From here on out, Sunday night is now "dig through the archive of shit night".
The goal being to document and disseminate some of my old style back into the light of day in order to compare it to work that I am currently making.
How will this shit be similar?
How will it be different? Here is the first in a soon-to-be recurring series of posts entitled: Old Art Sundays.

Coffee
Tea
Gauche
Acrylic
Colored Pencil
Sharpie
Prismacolor
Correctional Fluid

This one is from 2005, the high-school archive, back when I was really good at not sleeping, inadvertently biting David Choe's style while trying not to bite David Choe's style, and listening to Venetian Snares.
Soooo...
I guess not a lot has changed.
Except the medium.
Looking at this drawing reminds me of some of the Gorigami collaborations that Will and I and Co. were doing last winter. This old shit is way more controlled, less fun, and less spontaneous though. That and just I made oldie, not a crew of peeps like with the Gorigami.
Food for dude AKA thought.
